Energy Committee: Greening NUS

We are a group of students who are united in our concern for the damage brought about by mankind on Earth, which has led to the global climate crisis. As a student interest group we have identified an area which we believe can make an impact on the environment: energy usage. This is because energy consumption is directly linked to carbon dioxide emission which is the culprit behind the current global warming.

Our two main objectives are

1. To reach out to the students to raise their awareness of the climate crisis that we are all facing and and they can each do their bit for the environment by cutting down their energy usage and carbon dioxide emissions

2. To convince the NUS administration to adopt a more energy-saving and efficient policy
